How Cargova handles the information you give us.

This document has not been drafted yet. It must be written or approved by Cargova's counsel before launch — the text below is an outline of what it needs to cover, not the policy itself.
Required sections
- What personal information the quote form collects (name, phone, email, DOT/MC number, operation details) and why each field is needed
- How that information reaches Cargova and where it is stored — currently a Google Sheet, later a CRM
- Who it is shared with: which insurance carriers and wholesalers receive a submission, and on what basis
- How long submissions are retained, and what happens to a file that never converts
- How a visitor requests access to, correction of, or deletion of their information
- State-specific rights — California (CCPA/CPRA) at minimum, plus any other state where Cargova is licensed
- Cookies and analytics: what is set, by whom, and how consent is honoured
- Whether information is used for marketing or remarketing, and how to opt out
- TCPA consent language for phone and SMS contact following a form submission
- Contact route for privacy questions, and the effective date of the policy
